Cultural heritage includes folktales , music, art and architecture . The architecture, or style of buildings, often reflected what was going on during that period of time or in that particular region. Traveling across the state, you can see houses, temples, parks, schools and other and public buildings. These are the places where many different generations of our state lived, worshiped and conducted business.

During my childhood I saw many sadhus in my home town as it is a holy place. But I was not much familiar with their activities. In the north side of my home there are some big ashrams for sadhus. They woke up early in the morning around 4 o'clock and chant the word 'soham'. They also sang a song whose wording was some thing like that: " uth jaag mussafir bhor hua ab rein kha jo sovat hai, jo sovat hai vo khovat hai, jo jagat hai vo pavat hai ......." I also woke up early in the morning for study, so I also enjoyed this song parallel to my study.
